Music is an integral part of our life. It is the most relaxing diversion in our stressful life. Children of all ages love music classes. This activity starts right from the beginning, the Nursery class and continues up to the senior secondary school students. International Delhi Public School trains children in both – vocal and instrumental music. Songs are also earmarked for special occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, national and social festivals. Students are trained in instruments according to their talent and ability. The school has instruments like harmonium, tabla, keyboard, guitar and various drums .An orchestra/band is formed of students who play various instruments and they are taught both Indian and western musical piece. The school has talented teachers who teach vocal and instrumental music. They also conduct individual/group singing competitions among students.

This is the place, where young dancers start their journey to become great choreographers & where the children unwind and learn the aesthetics of movement. Classical Dance (Indian & Western), Modern Dance (Indian & Western), Choreography, direction is all interwoven into the fabric of our Educational experience. Dance is an ideal means of communication to express what is too deep, too fine for words. International Delhi Public School Jammu, students learn to choreograph and are made conversant with various Indian and Western dance forms like Indian Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa and these are some of the most eagerly awaited moments for self expression and the students can be seen enjoying to the hilt. The Department of dance is committed to excellence, innovation, learning in action, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to bridge dance practice and scholarship and to foster interdisciplinary inquiry. As a trained faculty, we bring a challenging range of perspectives to our teaching and research, and continually re-examine our curriculum in order to prepare both young and mature aspirants for careers in the ever-evolving field of Performing Arts.
